​Are you old enough to remember that reference?  The Mission Committee of the Houghs Neck Congregational Church, 310 Manet Ave., is asking everyone who is able to purchase some new warm socks and bring them to church.  Any socks for men, women or children are welcome but we particularly encourage warm socks rather than frilly toddler socks.  Socks are the number one requested clothing item for the homeless population. 

This drive will continue through the end of February when the socks will be donated to an agency or agencies which work with homeless and needy populations.
Let’s blow the socks off this project. Please plan to contribute new socks by the end of February.

We are an open Community of Faith serving the families and people of Houghs Neck, Quincy and surrounding communities. We seek to create a space for all believers who know their spiritual pilgrimage is one among many. We seek to honor each person’s walk with God and see others who seek the loving presence of God as brothers and sisters. We are an integral part of Houghs Neck and are strongly connected to the Houghs Neck Community Council.
