WEDDINGS
Our church is open to perform weddings for both members and non-members.
Setting the Date: Please contact the church at (617) 479-8778 as soon as you have chosen the date and time for your wedding.  
Meeting with the Minister: Please schedule an appointment with the minister about four to six months before your wedding.
Sanctuary: The Sanctuary can hold up to 150 guests comfortably. It has two side aisles one center aisle and an organ.
Music: The church organist will be happy to discuss the music for your wedding ceremony with you.
Contract: Additional logistical details will be reviewed as part of a contract that the minister will review with the couple. The fees for weddings at the Houghs Neck Congregational Church are established by the Board of Trustees and are included in the contract.

FUNERALS
To comfort those who mourn and grieve is the ministry of Christ’s Church. We are here to provide a meaningful service of remembrance and hope for loved ones and to offer pastoral care and comfort that supports a family through the mourning process.
Calling the Pastor: When there is a death in a family, please call the Pastor at (617) 479-8778 so that appropriate pastoral care can be provided.
Collations: The Rev. M. Alicia Corea hall is available for collations following the service.
Remembrance Fund: There are people who feel a contribution to the Remembrance Fund of the Church would provide a fitting memorial. We welcome any donations to this fund. Checks should be made out to “House Neck Congregational Church”. We also welcome larger bequests to the Church’s endowment fund as a fitting memorial.
We are an open Community of Faith serving the families and people of Houghs Neck, Quincy and surrounding communities. We seek to create a space for all believers who know their spiritual pilgrimage is one among many. We seek to honor each person’s walk with God and see others who seek the loving presence of God as brothers and sisters. We are an integral part of Houghs Neck and are strongly connected to the Houghs Neck Community Council.
