Music Ministry & Choir

You don’t have to be a professional singer to join our choir — you just have to love to sing!

Music is an important part of worship at HNCC. Each week, our music is thoughtfully selected to complement the service and create an uplifting and inspiring worship experience.

Our Choir

Our volunteer choir is a four-part SATB (soprano, alto, tenor, bass) choir made up of people who enjoy singing and sharing their musical gifts. Even members who have moved away sometimes join us when they’re back in the area!

Our organist also serves as our choir director.

Wednesday Rehearsal: 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Sunday Warm-Up: 9:30 a.m.
Choir Season: September through May

Each Sunday, the choir opens worship with an introit, sometimes sung a cappella and sometimes accompanied by tambourine, guitar, or mandolin.

Following the Scripture reading, the choir shares an anthem accompanied by piano or guitar. Choir members then return to the congregation to worship with their families and friends.

Come Sing With Us!

If you enjoy singing, we would love to welcome you to our choir. No professional training or choir experience is needed — just bring your voice, your enthusiasm, and a love of music.

Come to a rehearsal, meet the choir, and see what you think. There’s always room for another voice!

Come “Sing Praises!” with us — we’d love to have you.
